A Christmas Wish To YOU!

My Christmas Wish To YOU

If I could wish a wish for you,
it would be for peace and happiness not only now,
but for the whole year through!

I wish that there always be food on your table.
And that you always remember those less fortunate.
May you always take time to share, and thank those who share with you.

I wish for time, so you may reflect
on the blessings that you have, and that you express your love
to those who are dear to you.

May you never feel lonely,
because there are those who care.
That you realize: you are special,
you are unique, you make a difference,
not only at Christmas, but all year!

I wish for your thoughts to be positive the ones,
that you never quit, that you never give up,
and that you continue to learn.
I wish for the love, peace, and joy
of Christmas to be yours always, and forever in your heart

With love and blessed moments,

On CChristmasWishhristmas Eve I was with my family and friends at a social gathering which also included some acquaintances from outside of our group. After a short time at the festivities a gentleman who I just met got up to make a toast. I must admit that my chemo adjusted stomach cannot tolerate any alcohol so I was about to raise my glass of ginger ale while others raised their glass of champagne.
The speaker said " Christmas wishes to all and let's celebrate this year like it is our last Christmas." There was an uneasy quiet in the room. I could not raise my glass up to join in this toast. My family and friends knew all to well the battle that we were in. The other 50% of the participants had no idea. I could see the uncomfortable look on the part of my family once these words were uttered. I have said many times that my family protects me like a herd of wild elephants--I am the wounded herd member in the center of a circle and they want to protect me from outside forces and this toast was obviously perceived as an outside force to my well being.
I slowly rose from my chair and asked if I could extend a second toast for all assembled. I then stated:
" A Christmas toast for love, happiness and health for all assembled. Let us celebrate like it is the first Christmas of the rest of our life."
I could raise my glass and slowly sip the ginger ale and thought to myself about the proverbial "Is the glass half full or half empty?" I raise my glass this morning to all my friends on this site---Let's celebrate like it is the first Christmas of many more to come. May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find your way.
May you always have courage to take a chance
And never find frogs in your underpants.

Here are some of the best Christmas quotes that you have ever read. The reason I think that these are the best Christmas quotes is that they truly convey the joy of Christmas. Enjoy these Christmas quotes and spread the Christmas cheer.

Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling.
Bess Streeter Aldrich, Song of Years
Christmas Eve was a night of song that wrapped itself about you like a shawl. But it warmed more than your body. It warmed your heart... filled it, too, with melody that would last forever.
Lenora Mattingly Weber, Extension
Christmas is for children. But it is for grownups too. Even if it is a headache, a chore, and nightmare, it is a period of necessary defrosting of chill and hide-bound hearts.
Louisa May Alcott
The rooms were very still while the pages were softly turned and the winter sunshine crept in to touch the bright heads and serious faces with a Christmas greeting.
Charles N. Barnard
The perfect Christmas tree? All Christmas trees are perfect!
Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
But I am sure that I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round... as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely.
W. J. Tucker, Pulpit Preaching
For centuries men have kept an appointment with Christmas. Christmas means fellowship, feasting, giving and receiving, a time of good cheer, home.
Mary Ellen Chase
Christmas, children, is not a date. It is a state of mind.
Dr. Seuss
And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more?
G. K. Chesterton
When we were children we were grateful to those who filled our stockings at Christmas time. Why are we not grateful to God for filling our stockings with legs?
Dale Evans
Christmas, my child, is love in action.
Andy Rooney

Christmas is not an eternal event at all, but a piece of one's home that one carries in one's heart.
Marjorie Holmes
At Christmas, all roads lead home.

When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things -- not the great occasions -- give off the greatest glow of happiness.

Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
Bart Simpson
Aren't we forgetting the true meaning of Christmas? You know… the birth of Santa.
Bob Hope
My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?
